ITI currently has 2 projects : The Al-Kafi project and the Du'a al-Nudbah project.

The Al-Kafi project

     ITI has decided to take on the first two volumes of Kitab al-Kafi, known as Usul al-Kafi as its first endeavor because of the pivotal role this collection has played in the development of Islamic scholarship and because of its vast reservoir of teachings from the Prophet and Imams.

     The team at ITI will, in reality, produce two texts for publication. The first will be an Arabic text which will be used first and foremost by ITI´s translator as a source from which to translate into English; however, it will also benefit other students of the hawzah and those who wish to translate the text into other languages.

     The second text will consist of an accurate, eloquent translation of the text of al-Kafi along with extensive English commentary.

The Du'a al-Nudba project

     As a second project in parallel with the first, ITI has taken on the task of translating and commenting upon the famous supplication Du'a al-Nudba. While the style of the translation and commentary will be consistent with that of Usul al-Kafi, the supplication's shorter length will allow ITI to complete this work much sooner, if God wills.
